Unizia Agro & Spices

We are over here in Kulithalai, specifically in Balaji Nagar. It is a quiet spot mostly, and we spend our days dealing with different spices and agricultural products. My family started this because we knew the local farmers and saw what they were growing in the fields around here. We keep things pretty simple at No: 1/30. There is usually a lot of dust from the bags being moved around and the smell of the spices can get quite strong when the sun hits the building. It isn’t a fancy office with big windows or anything like that. Just a practical space where we get the work done. People come by and we talk about the crops or how the weather is affecting the harvest this year. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy but we manage. We handle the sorting and making sure everything is packed right before it goes out. It is just a handful of us working here. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. Most people find us through word of mouth around Periyar Nagar. We just try to stay busy and keep the orders moving out on time. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. You can usually find one of us sitting near the entrance checking the ledgers or talking to a driver who just arrived with a load. It’s a basic life but we like it.
