Anand Traders

Anand Traders is right at No.1 on Kulandaivel Street. We are directly opposite the Kalaiarangam Complex, so it is easy enough to find if you are in the neighborhood. Being at number one on the street feels like we have been here forever, and honestly, it has been a long time. The street can get pretty crowded with people going to the complex, which makes parking a bit of a nightmare sometimes. Our shop is filled with all sorts of things we have gathered over the years. It is not exactly organized by a professional, but we know where everything is. Usually, there is a bit of dust on the higher shelves because we cannot reach them every day without a tall ladder. We spend most of our time chatting with customers or dealing with the suppliers who pull up out front. It is a local business through and through. We do not have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the people who come in find what they need and leave satisfied. Some of our regulars have been coming here since they were kids. It is a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we like the energy of the street. It is just us, a few shelves, and a lot of history in this little corner of the town. We do not plan on changing much anytime soon because this way of working has always suited us just fine.
