Varalaxmi Granites

We run Varalaxmi Granites from 36-45-2 in Elgandal, over in Bahupet Khagipur. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are coming from the main town. The area is mostly open land and other stone yards. We have been working with granite for a long time. The yard is full of different colors and sizes of stone. Every morning we start by checking the schedule and seeing what needs to be loaded onto the trucks. Elgandal is a quiet place for the most part, except for the sound of the saws cutting through the stone. That noise becomes something you just get used to after a while. We do not spend much time in an office. Most of our work is done standing up or moving around the yard. It is physical labor and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. Bahupet Khagipur has its own charm, even if it is just a workplace for us. We see the same faces every day, mostly drivers and other workers from the nearby yards. When the day is over, we lock up the gate and head home. It is a simple routine that does not change much. We just focus on getting the stones ready and making sure everything is in order at the end of the shift. We do not worry about being fancy.
