We're just a group of farmers here in Singavaram at 1-1. It started because we all live close and do the same kind of work. Farming isn't easy, especially when you're trying to figure out how to get everything done on your own. A few of us got together and decided it made more sense to work as one group. That’s how Singavaram Farmers Producer Companylimited came about. We don't have a big fancy office, just the spot here in the village. Most days you'll find us out in the fields or talking about the weather and the crops. We handle the stuff that comes with growing things, like getting supplies and figuring out where the harvest goes once it's ready. It’s mostly about helping each other out so nobody gets left behind. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we manage. We’ve been here a while and everyone knows everyone else. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. If you walk by 1-1 in Singavaram, you’ll likely see some of us hanging around. There isn't much more to it than that. We just wanted a way to keep things moving for the local farms around here. It keeps us busy and it keeps the community going. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation, just a local bunch of farmers looking after their own land and crops together.
