Our office is over at H.No. 2-10-1503 in Chaitanyapuri, which is right in Karimnagar. We call the business Pruthvi Pandla Thotala Raithula Producer Company Limited. That’s a lot of words to basically say we are a bunch of fruit orchard owners who decided to team up. Dealing with fruit is tricky because it doesn't wait for anyone; it ripens and you have to move fast. That’s why we have this central spot in town to organize everything. We spend a lot of time talking about weather patterns and pests and who is ready to pick their crop. It’s not a polished business environment. It’s a place where you’ll see people with dirt on their boots and sun-beaten faces. We sit around and try to figure out the best way to get our mangoes or other fruits to the market without them bruising or going bad. It’s a constant juggle. The office is just a regular house turned into a workspace, so it feels more like home than a corporate building. We don't have a big marketing budget or a grand mission statement. We just want to make sure we don't lose money on a harvest we worked all year for. It’s practical, everyday stuff that keeps us busy here in Karimnagar. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it's dead quiet while everyone is out in the orchards.
