Mogilipet Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Gandhi Nagar, right in the heart of Mogilipet. Our address is 5-85, and it’s a place where we all gather to discuss the harvest and the seasons. Karimnagar is the main area we are connected to, specifically the Mallapur block. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to work together because it’s easier than trying to handle everything alone. There isn't a lot of extra money for fancy offices, so we use what we have in the village. It gets dusty, and the chairs aren't the most comfortable, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time talking about prices for our crops and how to get better supplies for the next planting season. Sometimes the rains are good, sometimes they aren't, so we have plenty to talk about. Most of us have lived in Mogilipet our whole lives. We know the land pretty well. This company is just our way of organizing things a bit better so we can keep our farms going. People come in and out all day, especially during the sowing season. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We don't have any marketing team or anything like that. It's just us, the local farmers, sitting around a table. Sometimes the meetings go on for hours because everyone has an opinion. We just try to find a way that helps everyone in the village.
