We’re based in Gangwar, at house number 1-66. This company started because the farmers here needed a better way to work. Narinja is the name we chose, and we really are just a group of friends and neighbors. The office is basically a room in the village where we keep our records. It’s quiet most of the time, except when there’s a meeting. Then everyone shows up and it gets loud with people talking about prices and fertilizers. We don't have fancy furniture or computers. We use what we have. Gangwar is a small place, so we all know each other’s families. If someone has a problem with their crop, we talk about it over tea. It’s a very local thing. We’re trying to help each other get a fair deal. The paperwork for being a producer company is a bit much sometimes, but we do our best with it. We don't have any experts from the city; we just use the experience we’ve got from years in the fields. Some days are slow, and some days we’re running around trying to fix things. It’s just how it is here. We’re glad to have our own place to meet and make decisions for our own farms. It isn't always easy but working together makes a difference to everyone in the village. We just keep at it.
