Hanman Granites

Our business is located out in Elgandula Village. It’s quite a change from the noise of the bigger towns. Out here, the pace is a bit slower, and we are surrounded by the land where the stone actually comes from. We have a large open area where we keep the granite blocks and slabs. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. It’s just a yard with stone and some basic machinery for moving things around. The workers are mostly local people from the village or nearby. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high because it can get really scorching out in the open. You can hear the sounds of the village in the background, like the birds or a tractor passing by. We don't get a lot of walk-in traffic like a shop in the city would. Most people who come here have a specific reason to visit or they are looking for a bulk order. We spend our days checking the quality of the stone as it comes in and making sure the loading is done right. It’s a lot of physical labor and being out in the elements. We like the quiet life here in Elgandula. We aren't trying to grow into some massive company; we just want to keep the yard running and make sure the stone we send out is decent. It’s a basic way of living and working.
