Balaji Welding Works

We are Balaji Welding Works, located at H. No : 2-45 in the Choppadandi area of Karimnagar district. It is basically a small workshop that is attached to the side of the house. There is always a lot of iron rods and scrap metal laying around in the yard. We do all kinds of welding jobs for the people around here. People bring us broken gate hinges, tractor parts, or sometimes we make new window grills from scratch. The bright light from the welding can be a lot for the eyes, so we always wear the protective masks, but it still gets very hot inside the shed. I started this shop because I like working with metal and using my hands. My son helps out after his school is done for the day. We do not have a big sign or a fancy storefront to show off. Most people just know we are here because of the sound of the grinding machine or the sparks. It is a bit messy and there is black iron dust on everything, but that is just how the job is. Fixed hours aren't really a thing here; if a local farmer has a broken plow and needs it fixed fast for the morning, we will stay late into the night to finish it. We are not trying to be the biggest shop in Karimnagar, just a reliable one for the local folks. We use old equipment that works.
