Kakatiya Cement Products

We operate Kakatiya Cement Products out on Hyderabad Road, specifically at 8/6/189. Being right on the main road means we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks, which just blends in with the cement dust we have here anyway. We spend our days mixing cement and casting different products out in the yard. It is heavy, physical work, and our clothes are usually covered in gray streaks by the time lunchtime rolls around. The sun beats down on the open yard, so we have a few sheds where we keep the finished products to dry and cure properly. We use a lot of water for the curing process, so the ground is often a bit damp and muddy in places. Hyderabad Road is a noisy place to be, with constant horns and engines, but it makes it easy for the big lorries to pull in and load up our pipes or blocks. We don't have a fancy showroom; if you want to see what we make, you just walk around the yard and look at the stacks. There is a small shack that serves as our office where we keep the invoices and a small fan to stay cool. We aren't big on talk or marketing, we just make the items and wait for the builders to come and pick them up. It is a rough and ready kind of business, and we have been doing it this way for a long time now. Even when it is raining, we are out here making sure the stock is covered and ready.
