Veggie Hub

We are located over in K Block of Kidwai Nagar, right there near the Alankar Guest House. It’s been our spot for quite some time now. Dealing with vegetables in a city like Kanpur isn't always the easiest thing to do, especially when the weather gets really hot or it starts pouring down during the monsoon. Every morning starts pretty early for us because that is when the fresh loads arrive. We spend hours sorting through everything, picking out what looks good and setting aside what doesn't. It’s a bit of a messy job, honestly. The shop itself is just a regular place, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. People from the neighborhood know us well, though. They drop by after work or while they are out running errands. Sometimes it gets really crowded when there is an event at the guest house nearby, and we have to manage the extra rush. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us here. It’s just about getting the daily work done and making sure the crates are full when the doors open. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a bit of time to sit down and have a chai. But mostly, it’s just the constant cycle of stocking, selling, and cleaning up at the end of the night. It is just Veggie Hub, a simple part of the local street.
