Bharat Heavy Machine

At Bharat Heavy Machine, we are tucked away at G-20 in the Bajrang Bali Industrial Estate over in Panki. It’s a gritty part of town, full of workshops and small plants, which suits us just fine. We spend our hours around lathes and milling machines, usually with a bit of oil on our clothes by the time lunch rolls around. The air is always thick with the smell of cutting fluid and hot metal. We aren't much for fancy talk or corporate meetings; we’d rather be out on the floor figuring out why a gear isn't sitting right. The building itself has seen better days, but the machines inside are kept in good shape because that’s what matters. Panki can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find G-20, you’ll see us there with the doors wide open to catch whatever breeze we can get. It is a noisy place with the hum of the motors running all day long. We have a small group of guys who have been together for a long time, so we don't need to explain much to each other anymore. We just get the work done and head home when the sun goes down. It’s simple, steady work and we take it one piece at a time. It isn't always easy, but we make sure the jobs get finished eventually.
