Shri Radha Gopal Poha Udyog

We are based at Plot Number 25 in Ward 3, with our office being Room 0323 in the Civil Lines area. We’re situated on Narayani Main Road, right near the old Kanpur Mill. It’s an industrial part of town, so there’s always a lot of movement and the sound of machinery in the air. Shri Radha Gopal Poha Udyog is where we process poha, which is a fairly involved process that keeps us on our feet all day long. The facility isn't something you'd see in a magazine; it's a hot, busy workspace filled with the smell of rice and the heat from the drying process. Our office in Civil Lines is where we keep the books and handle the orders, and it’s a bit quieter than the production floor, but not by much. Being near the Kanpur Mill means we are part of a long history of local industry in this area. We have a lot of different people coming through the doors, from truck drivers to local vendors. The layout of the place is a bit confusing if you’ve never been here before, with different sections for storage and cleaning. We don't have much in the way of decorations or comforts; we just focus on the machines and the product. It’s hard work, especially in the summer months, but it’s what we know how to do.
