Shri Gopal Brick Field

Shri Gopal Brick Field is located at No.P-48 in the P Block of Yashoda Nagar. A good way to find us is to look for the Gaurav Bakry Shop, as we are right near it on the 100 Feet Road. Having a bakery nearby is actually pretty nice because of the smell of fresh bread, though most of the time you just smell the earth and the smoke from our brick kilns. We have a large open field where we spread out the raw bricks to dry in the sun. It is a very old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. The 100 Feet Road stays busy with traffic, so there is always a bit of a buzz around the edge of the property. We do not have any corporate polish here. It is just a work site with piles of coal, clay, and finished bricks ready for sale. We spend our days outside, rain or shine, though rain usually means we have to cover everything up in a hurry. The office is just a small room where we keep the books and take a break from the heat. We have been part of the Yashoda Nagar neighborhood for a long time, and people just know us as the local brick field. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We just make the bricks, stack them up, and wait for the tractors to come by.
