Rama Brick Filde

Out here in Village Umeroa Kheda, we run Rama Brick Filde. We're located right by the Kanpur Highway, which is where most of our transport happens. Sarsaul is the general area, and we're a bit of a way from the main Kanpur Nagar center. Making bricks is hard work and it's mostly what we do all day long. We're out in the field from early morning. You can hear the trucks on the highway while we work. It’s a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is with bricks. We don't have a polished office or anything like that. It’s just us, the soil, and the kilns. People from the village know us well. We’ve been in Umeroa Kheda for many years now. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just show people the bricks and they decide. The Kanpur Highway makes it easy for us to send our loads to different places. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to slow down, but usually, we're busy. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a local operation with a few guys who know what they're doing. We focus on the work and don't worry about much else. If you're driving down the highway near Sarsaul, you'll see our fields. It’s a practical life, and we like it that way. We aren't doing anything special, just making bricks like we always have.
