Kds Bricks Field

You can find our field right on the Highway Road. We’re directly opposite the Manori Airport and not far from the main market area. It’s a very busy spot with the planes taking off nearby and the highway traffic always moving. Being near the airport means there’s always something going on. We run a brick field, so it’s mostly open space where we lay things out to dry. It gets quite hot out there, especially in the afternoons. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a sales team. If you want bricks, you just drive up to the site and talk to whoever is working the yard that day. We’ve been in this location for quite some time now. The market being close by is handy for getting supplies. We mostly deal with local builders and people fixing up their houses in the area. The work is physical and depends a lot on the seasons. During the monsoon, we have to be careful about the stock. It’s a simple life, just moving earth and making sure the fires stay hot. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a brick field on the side of the road. People know us by the stacks of red bricks they see when they drive past the airport. We just keep doing what we know how to do. The noise from the highway never really stops, but you get used to it.
