You’ll find us at Plot No 210 C 2 in the Lal Bangla area, specifically Tiwaripur Tar Bagia in Jajmau. We aren’t doing traditional clay bricks here; we work with cement to make various articles. It’s a different kind of mess than a regular brick field, mostly gray dust instead of red. We’ve got molds for all sorts of things, and the yard is full of finished pieces drying in the air. The Jajmau area is pretty busy, so there’s always something going on around us. Our workshop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We spend a lot of time mixing the cement and making sure it pours right into the forms. Sometimes the edges aren't perfect, but they’re solid enough for what they need to do. We’ve been at this spot in Lal Bangla for a while, and the neighbors know us well. We don't really do fancy marketing; people just see our work and come in to ask about prices. It’s a hands-on job from start to finish. We might be a bit slow to answer the phone if we’re in the middle of a pour, but we get back to everyone eventually. It’s just a small operation trying to make useful things out of cement for the local builders and house owners. We take it one day at a time and try to keep the yard organized, even if it usually looks a bit cluttered with all the molds.
