Mitali Enterprises

Mitali Enterprises is based at Plot No. 133/266 in Transport Nagar. We’re located right near Chabra Transport, which makes it easy for the truck drivers to find us. Since we’re in Transport Nagar, there is always a lot of movement and noise around the office. We deal with various goods and help get things sorted for transport to different cities. The office is just a couple of rooms with some old chairs and a lot of logbooks stacked on the shelves. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in to ask about rates. It gets very dusty out here with all the trucks driving past all day, so we’re always cleaning the windows. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who handle the paperwork and the loading of the smaller items. Sometimes things get delayed because of traffic or bad weather, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We have a small kettle for making chai, and that’s usually going all day long. The neighborhood is mostly other transport businesses and small repair shops. We’ve been here at this plot for several years now. We don't really do any marketing; we just work with the people who are already coming through the area. It’s a practical business for a practical part of town. We just try to keep the records straight.
