Ramanujam Mathematics Classes

We are located in Kaka Deo, which is a very busy part of Kanpur for students and shops. Specifically, we are in the basement of the Chandrani Apartment on Doctor Jha Lane. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but you can find us if you look for the Hanuman Mandir or the Agra Sweet House nearby. The smell from the sweet house is actually one of the best things about working here, though it makes us hungry all the time. Ramanujam Mathematics Classes is a simple place. Since we are in the basement, it stays a little cooler than the street level during those hot Kanpur summers, which is a relief. The walls are painted a light color to make it feel a bit brighter. We have 117/110/H-1/372, Chandrani Apt, Basement, Doctor Jha Ln, Kaka Deo, Kanpur - 208025 as our address. There are several rows of benches and a big board at the front. It gets pretty crowded in the afternoons when the batches arrive. I’ve spent a lot of time fixing the lights and making sure the fans don’t wobble too much. It’s a functional space without any unnecessary frills. Most people know us through word of mouth in the neighborhood. We just come in, do the math, and head home when it’s dark. The bells from the temple nearby remind us of the time throughout the day. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place.
