Pioneer Classes

You can find us over by the Vayu Vihar Air Force Gate, right near Khan Hospital in Harjinder Nagar. Pioneer Classes has been set up here for a while now. It’s a decent spot, though the noise from the gate can be a bit much when the shifts change. We have a few rooms with benches and whiteboards where we sit and go through lessons. It isn't a huge place, just a couple of us trying to help out the students who come by after their regular school hours. The fans hum quite a bit during the summer months, but we've gotten used to it. We keep a lot of old notebooks and chalk around. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows to keep the air moving. Harjinder Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside. We usually start our day in the afternoon when the kids show up. It’s a simple routine, really. We check the homework, explain the chapters, and try to make sure everyone understands what’s on the board. We don't have fancy leather chairs or anything like that. Just regular wooden desks and a lot of books stacked in the corners. It’s our little corner of the neighborhood where we spend most of our evenings working. We just focus on the teaching and let the rest of the world go by. Most of our work is done on the blackboard.
