This place is in Kaka Deo, which everyone knows is the hub for students in Kanpur. Our address is 117/N/65 in the Rani Ganj area. It's a typical Kanpur street, lots of bikes and people moving around. The building we are in is quite standard for this neighborhood. We’ve got classrooms where we spend most of our time. It's not a shiny corporate building. It's more of a place where you come to put your head down and study. We see a lot of students every day. Some stay for a few hours, others are here much longer. We don't have a big front desk with a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just says hello when you walk in. Kaka Deo can be pretty loud, but inside we try to keep it focused. We’ve been here for some time now, so most of the local tea stalls know us. It’s an honest way to make a living, helping people get through their exams. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, mostly just chalk and talk, or markers and boards. It works for us and the people who come here. If you find yourself in Rani Ganj, you’re close. It’s a practical space for learning without any of the extra stuff you don't really need. We just open up, do the classes, and go home.
