Mlmp Roller Flour Mills

Our mill, Mlmp Roller Flour Mills, is located at Plot No-7/186 in Swaroop Nagar, which is right near the Levis Showroom. It’s a bit of a contrast having a big flour mill so close to a clothing store, but we’ve been here a long time. We use roller mills to process our grain, which are big, heavy machines that take up most of our floor space. They make a loud humming sound that you can hear even from the street. The work is pretty straightforward but it is very repetitive. We spend our days loading the grain into the hoppers and then bagging the flour once it is ground. My brothers and I run the place together. There is no corporate structure here and we don't use any fancy titles. We just do whatever needs to be done that day. Sometimes that means fixing a broken belt, and other times it’s talking to the truck drivers who bring the wheat. The warehouse is usually full of stacked bags, so there’s not much room left to walk around. We don't have a marketing plan or any slogans. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been in Swaroop Nagar for years now. People know us and they know where to find us if they need flour in bulk. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work, especially during the summer heat, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the rollers turning every day.
