Grace Men Saloon.

We are located right near the Kesa office on 100 Feet Road here in Ratanlal Nagar. It is a pretty busy stretch of road in Kanpur, especially around Shastri Chauk where things can get a bit congested during the rush hour. The shop itself is just a regular men’s saloon where we spend most of our day. We have the usual chairs and mirrors that you find in any local barber shop. It’s not a fancy place with expensive decorations, just a practical spot for men to get their hair cut or have a shave. We keep the floor swept and the tools clean because that is just how it should be done. A lot of the people who come in live right here in the neighborhood, so we see the same faces every couple of weeks. You might have to wait a few minutes if you come on a Sunday morning because that is our busiest time. We usually have the radio playing in the background or just talk about what is happening in the city. The Kanpur heat can be tough, so we make sure the fans are always running for anyone sitting in the chair. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us doing the work every day from morning till evening. If you are walking down 100 Feet Road, you will probably see our sign hanging out front.
