Cwc Make Up Studio

The studio is located over at 225, Sinha Road Rampuram, right in the Shyam Nagar area of Kanpur. We are pretty close to the Virendra Swaroop School Chauraha, so we hear the school bells and the kids shouting in the afternoons. It gets quite busy at that crossing. Cwc Make Up Studio is a small space where we keep all our brushes, paints, and mirrors. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it white, though the dust from Sinha Road makes that a daily chore. We spend a lot of time organizing the palettes and making sure the lights are bright enough. Sometimes the tea man from the corner brings over a few cups while we’re working. It’s just how things are in this part of Kanpur. The 208013 zip code area has a lot of traffic, and our windows let in all that city noise. We’ve got a few comfortable chairs for people to sit in while they wait their turn. It isn’t a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a room where we do our work and try to stay cool when the Kanpur heat gets too much in the summer. We keep the mirrors polished and the door unlocked during the day. It’s a regular routine of cleaning sponges and washing towels. We also have a small cupboard in the back where we keep our lunch and extra supplies. Just a local spot on a busy road.
