Birhana Road is always crowded, and that is where you will find us at 24/72. It is a busy part of Kanpur, so there is always noise from the rickshaws and people walking by outside. Our space here isn't very large, but we make it work with the desks we have. Most of the time, the students are huddled over their notebooks trying to figure out some tricky problem. We don’t have any big signs or flashing lights, just a small place where people come to learn. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings over a few cups when we are having a long session. It’s just us and the students, day in and day out. We started this because there was a need for a spot where kids could sit down and actually focus. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so you have to be careful when you're coming up. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice, though the dust from the road can be a bit much. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of setup. Nothing is polished or perfect, and we like it that way. We just show up, open the doors, and start the classes. There isn't any fancy philosophy behind it, we just want to help the local students get through their exams without too much stress. It’s a simple life here on Birhana Road, and we’re quite used to the bustle by now.
