Career Point Tutorials

Our place, Career Point Tutorials, is located at 531 C, right at the Ramadevi Chauraha in Kanpur. It's a very busy intersection. If you know where Malik Guest House is, we are very close to that. Kanpur is a fast-paced city and this area is no exception at all. There is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by. We have a few classrooms inside the building. The walls are a bit plain, but we have our boards and plenty of chalk. We spend most of our day here. It's a lot of talking and writing. Sometimes we have to shout a bit over the noise of the traffic outside to be heard. Students from around the Chauraha come here after their school hours. We have a small corner for ourselves with a table and a few plastic chairs. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend much time on decorations or looking fancy. The focus is always on the books and the lessons for the day. Water is kept in a big earthen pot in the corner to stay cool during the summer months. People just walk in when they need to ask about timings or fees. We don’t have a fancy reception desk. It’s just us sitting there. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. Most of the shopkeepers around here know us well. We’ve been at this spot for quite a few years and it has become our second home.
