Oruma Plastics Pvt. Ltd.

Working out of Kinfra Textile Park keeps us pretty occupied throughout the week. Oruma Plastics Pvt. Ltd. is located right here in Elemberam, and it’s a bit of a trek for some, but for those of us who live near Thaliparamba, it's just the daily commute. The park itself is always humming with some kind of activity. We’re over in the Pallivayal area, which is easy enough to locate once you get inside. Our space isn't overly decorated or anything. It's mostly just machines and stacks of materials waiting to be processed. We spend a lot of time on the floor making sure everything is running. Sometimes the humidity in this part of Thaliparamba gets to you, especially in the afternoons. We have a small tea break every day, which is when most of the real talking happens among the staff. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation, even if the name says Pvt. Ltd. It's just a group of local people working together. The P.O. Pallivayal mail comes in late sometimes, but we don't mind much. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other folks working in the textile park too. It’s a steady kind of life here. We just focus on getting the plastic work done and heading home to our families. It’s quiet in the evenings after the machines stop. We don't have any fancy brochures, just our work to show for the day.
