K L Abdul Sathar

K L Abdul Sathar is the name on the door here on the Edapally Panvel Highway. We are located right in the middle of South Bazar, which is always full of energy. Being on the highway means we see a lot of travelers who are just passing through on their way to somewhere else. My shop has been here for a long time, and I have seen the road widen and change over the years. We sell a variety of things that people in South Bazar need, mostly everyday items and some hardware. The building is made of simple concrete and stays fairly dark inside, which is nice when the midday heat is strong. I usually have a helper or two around to help with the heavy lifting when a truck arrives with new stock. We do not have a website or any fancy technology. I still use a calculator and a notebook to keep track of what I sell. The noise from the Edapally Panvel Highway is constant, with horns and engines going all day long. You get used to it after a week or so. People stop by for a chat and a cup of tea from the stall next door. It is a very social way to run a business. I know most of the people who live in the South Bazar area by name. We just do our work, talk to the neighbors, and close up when it gets dark.
