Jineesh Mundachalil Pothody

Jineesh Mundachalil Pothody is the name, and I’m based out of Rajana Nivas. My place is in Odathilpeedika, which is under the Mamba post office in Kannur, Kerala. The pin code here is 670611. Working from Kerala means dealing with a lot of greenery and, of course, the monsoon rains which can be quite heavy. Rajana Nivas is my home base. It’s a simple house where I’ve set aside some space to get my work done. Kannur is a beautiful place, and Mamba is a quiet enough area where I can focus without too much noise from the main roads. I don't have any fancy signage or a front desk. If you come by, you’ll just see a regular house. I’ve been doing this for a while now. My day usually starts with the sounds of the neighborhood waking up. I handle all my tasks from a small table in the corner of the main room. It’s not a corporate environment by any stretch of the imagination. I just do my bit and keep things moving. Sometimes the power goes out during a storm, and I just have to wait it out. That’s just how it is living here. I don't mind it much. It gives me a chance to step away from the screen for a few minutes. Most days are just steady work.
