We’re set up in Chovva, over in Kannur. It’s a local operation, even if the name sounds a bit bigger than we actually are. Most of our work involves computers, doing coding and building things for the internet. The office isn't anything special, just a few rooms with good internet and a lot of monitors. We started this in Kannur because it’s where we live. Most days involve a lot of typing and drinking too much tea. Suits aren't part of the wardrobe here. Usually, it's just jeans and t-shirts while we try to figure out why a piece of code isn't working right. The neighbors in Chovva probably just see us as the people who stay up late with the lights on. A big sales team or a fancy lobby doesn't exist. If you come by, you'll probably just see us sitting at our desks or talking in the small kitchen. It’s a quiet way to make a living. Digital tasks of all kinds come our way, some easy and some that take weeks to finish. Sometimes the monsoon makes the roof leak a little, but we just move the computers and keep going. It’s just a group of us trying to do decent work from our corner of the world. A small balcony is where we sit when we need a break from the screens. Chovva is a good spot because it’s not too loud but close enough to everything. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people finding us.
