Xavier Nanjil Milk Producer Company Limited is based out on Kayathar Road in Devarkulam. We are at 2/119E, which is right by Sf No 10/2A. Basically, we are a group of folks who deal with milk every single day. It starts very early, usually while most people are still sleeping. The cows don't wait for anyone. We have people bringing in milk from all around the area. It can get pretty hectic in the mornings with all the cans clanking and the testing we have to do. We aren't a fancy factory; it’s more of a community hub for the local dairy farmers. The office part is just where we keep the records so everyone gets paid right. It smells like fresh milk and sometimes a bit like the countryside, which is just how it is. We’ve had some tough times with the weather affecting the feed, but we manage to keep going. We know the families who bring their milk here, and they know us. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy containers and cleaning down the equipment. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just focus on getting the milk processed and sent out. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and it keeps us tied to the land and the animals. It is what we know.
