Neerazhi Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our office for Neerazhi Farmer Producer Company Limited is at 4/152 in Suthanthira Ponvilai Nager which is part of Parvathipuram. We are a group of farmers who live and work around this area. The name Neerazhi has to do with water and that is something we always have on our minds when we are out in the fields. It is a local effort and we started it because it’s better to work together than to try and do everything alone. We aren't some big business from the city. We are just neighbors who know each other's names and families. Our place in Parvathipuram is where we meet to talk about the crops and how the season is looking. It is not a very formal place so you will usually find us in our work clothes just sitting and talking. We have to deal with all the usual problems like pests and not enough rain or sometimes too much rain at the wrong time. We try to share what we know so everyone can have a better harvest. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes to get all the rules and paperwork right for the company but we are getting there slowly. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We are just farmers trying to make a living and looking out for each other in our little corner of the world where we have been for years.
