Umiya Plastic

If you are looking for us, we are at Plot No. 125 in Shivam Estate, which is part of Phase-2 in GIDC. Umiya Plastic is a place that’s always got the smell of warm plastic in the air. We have several machines that run for hours, and they make a steady humming sound that you eventually stop noticing after a few days. Shivam Estate is a bit tucked away, so it’s not as crazy as the main roads, but it still stays busy from morning till night. We have bags of raw material stacked up to the ceiling in some places. The office is just a corner we partitioned off with some plywood. It’s nothing special, but it gives us a place to sit and have a cup of chai when things slow down. We have a small team of workers who have been here a long time. They know exactly how to handle the machines when they start acting up. The lighting isn't the best, especially in the back of the shed, but we make do with what we have. We don't really spend much on advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who just know we are here. The driveway is a bit narrow, so getting the bigger delivery vans in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just take it day by day and try to keep everything moving along. That’s about all there is to it for us.
