Umang Synthetic

Umang Synthetic is located at Plot No. 703, Phase-1, GIDC. This part of the industrial estate is always humming with activity. We work with synthetic materials, so the shop is often full of rolls of fabric or plastic-based goods. It’s a lot of repetitive work, watching the machines and making sure nothing gets jammed up. The lighting in Phase-1 is okay, but we’ve added some extra tubes over the main work areas so we can see the textures clearly. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time moving heavy rolls around and packing things up for shipping. The walls are painted a plain color that’s faded over the years, and we have a small corner where we keep the records and the phone. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how the equipment runs. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves because we know its history. It’s a steady kind of life. We see the same truck drivers every week and know most of the people in the neighboring plots. We don't put on any acts here. We just process the materials and get them out the door. It’s what we’ve been doing for years and we’ve gotten a good handle on how to manage the workload at Plot 703. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the production moving along.
