Over at Plot No. 1712 in Phase-2 of the Gidc, we run Khodal Plastic. It’s a straightforward operation. We have the machines running pretty much all the time to keep up with what people need. The smell of melting plastic is just part of the day for us. We started small and we’ve stayed pretty grounded. We don't use any of that corporate talk you hear from big city companies. We are just local people making plastic goods. Sometimes the raw material prices go up and we have to figure things out, but that's just business. The workshop can get a little crowded when we have a big shipment ready to go. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on the molds and the output. Our staff is mostly people from the local area who have been doing this for years. We like the rhythm of the machines. If you come by Plot 1712, you might have to shout over the noise to talk to us. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to be consistent. It’s a lot of manual handling and checking parts for defects. We just do our best every day and go home tired. That’s really all there is to it at our shop. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans painted on the walls. We just come in, do the job, and head home to our families.
