We are located in Keela Thalanur Village, right on the Main Road in Tirukoilur. Our group is called Tirukoilur Collective Farming Farmer Producer Company Limited. If you’re passing through the village, you’ll see our place at No.6/65. We are basically a collection of local families who have been farming this land for as long as anyone can remember. We decided to register as a company so we could buy things in bulk and maybe save a little money. Everything has gotten so pricey lately, from diesel to fertilizer. Working together just makes sense. It’s not always smooth sailing; sometimes we argue about who gets the tractor first or what we should plant in the south field. But at the end of the day, we’re all in the same boat. We don't have any polished brochures or a big website. Most of our business is done with a handshake and a lot of talking. The village is a tight-knit place, and we try to look out for each other. Sometimes the crops are great, and sometimes the pests get the better of us. That’s just farming. We spend our days outside, usually covered in dust or mud. It’s hard work, and your back usually hurts by the end of the day. But there’s something good about seeing things grow from nothing. We’re just a bunch of locals trying to keep our heritage going and provide for our families.
