National Public School

We have been here on Shahabad Road in Gulbarga for a good while now. It's a busy part of town, so you probably see the kids arriving every morning when the sun is just coming up over the buildings. Our school isn't some fancy glass tower, just a solid place where students come to learn their lessons. Most days start with the usual noise of buses and parents dropping off their children near the gate. We keep things pretty simple here. There are classrooms, a bit of space for the kids to run around during their break, and teachers who have been with us for years. You’ll find us mostly busy with paperwork or fixing up a desk that’s gone a bit wobbly. The weather in Gulbarga gets quite hot in the summer, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as we can for everyone. It’s not always quiet, especially when the bell rings for lunch and everyone heads out at once. We know the neighbors around here and see the same faces every day on the road. It’s just a regular part of the community. We don't do much shouting about what we do, we just open the gates every morning and get on with the teaching. Sometimes the traffic on Shahabad Road makes things a bit slow, but we've all gotten used to it over the years. It's just home to us.
