Shree Chandragiri Kannada & English Medium Pre Primary & Primary School

Down in Kondedgalli Brahampur, near Vinoba Bhave Chowk, you’ll find Shree Chandragiri school. It’s a bit of a long name, but we cover both Kannada and English medium classes for the younger kids. We’re located right on S.B. Temple Road here in Kalaburagi. The weather gets pretty hot in this part of Gulbarga, so we try to keep the classrooms as cool as possible for the students. It’s a lively place, especially in the mornings when the sun is just coming up and the families are dropping their children off before work. We have both pre-primary and primary sections, so we see the kids grow up over several years. The teachers here speak both languages, which helps a lot when explaining things to the kids who might be struggling. Our building is right in the heart of the town, so it’s easy for everyone to reach. There’s always a bit of dust and noise from the road, but that’s just life in Kalaburagi. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have enough books and space for the children to learn their lessons. Most of our students come from the surrounding streets and their parents are regular working people. We just focus on giving them a solid start with their reading and writing. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we try to treat every child fairly and get through the syllabus each year.
