Steward

My name is Vinod Kumar. I'm the son of Mv Ramarao, and we live at door number 17-108 in Vetlapalem. This is in the Samalkot Mandal in East Godavari. I’ve been working under the name Steward for a long time. It’s a job that keeps me moving, usually in the hospitality side of things. I don’t have a big fancy office, I just go where the service is needed. Growing up here in Andhra Pradesh, you learn that you have to work hard to get by. My home in Vetlapalem is a quiet place, and it's where I keep all my things and rest between jobs. Sometimes the work takes me quite far from the Samalkot area, but I always come back here. People know my father, Ramarao, and that helps people trust me when I show up for work. I don't have a website or any of those things. If someone needs a steward for an event or a function, they usually just call me or come to the house. I try to be professional and get the service right. It’s about being on your feet for ten or twelve hours sometimes, which can be tough on the legs. But I’m used to it. I just focus on the task and make sure everyone is served. It’s a simple life, and I’m just trying to do my part and earn a decent living for my family. I keep my uniform clean and ready for the next call.
