Mosambi Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our company is located in Gantavari Gudem at Plot Number 10, which belongs to G Malla Reddy. We are a group of farmers who mostly focus on mosambi. If you spend any time around here, you know how much work goes into those trees. It takes a long time for them to grow and start giving fruit. We all got together to form this company because selling mosambi individually was becoming a real headache for us. Now we can talk to buyers as one group. The office is just a simple place in the village. We aren't into big marketing campaigns or anything like that. We just want to make sure our fruit gets to the market in good shape. Most of us live right here in the Gudem. You’ll see us out in the orchards most of the day, checking the water or looking for pests on the leaves. It’s a lot of waiting for the right season. When the harvest finally comes, everyone is incredibly busy. We share the costs of the trucks and the laborers. It makes things a little easier on everyone’s wallet. We don't pretend to be some big corporate entity. We are just local people who know a lot about sweet lime. The soil in this area is good for it, but you still have to put in the hours every week. That’s what we do. We are just a group of growers trying to make things work for our families.
