We set up Praveena Ranga Laxmi Agro Farms And Estates Private Limited over on 2-22-6 Undi Road. It’s a place where we deal with the everyday realities of running an agro farm and managing local estates. Being in this part of the region, agriculture is just what people do, so we decided to make a proper business out of it. The office isn't anything special to look at, but it’s where we keep all the records and talk to the workers when they come in. Most of our time is spent out on the land or checking on the various estates we have to manage. It can be a lot of work when the season changes and there's a hundred things to do at once. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just focus on the soil and the trees and making sure the water is running where it should be. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon trying to fix a tractor or a pump by ourselves. That's just how it goes when you're working with the land. The road outside can get pretty dusty when the trucks go by, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We’ve got a few people helping us out and we all just try to get through the week and make sure everything is growing like it ought to. It takes a lot of patience.
