Karlapalem Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at D No 8-307. We are right in Karlapalem Mandal, near Pallakandam and the local Up School. Being near the school means there is always some noise and activity around, which we like. This company is really just a bunch of us farmers coming together to make things a bit easier for everyone involved. We don't have a corporate headquarters; it’s just a building where we meet and store some of the gear. Most of our time is spent out in the fields or talking to the other guys in the mandal. It’s a collective effort, really. We share what we know and try to get the best out of the land we have. Some years are better than others, depending on the rain and the markets. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We grow things, we pack things, and we move them along. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially during harvest time. You can usually find one of us hanging around the office near the school if you have a question. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so we know the area like the back of our hands. It’s just about supporting each other and keeping the farming tradition alive here in Karlapalem. Nothing flashy, just the way it is.
