Sri Sai Vignan High School

Over in Vivekanandha Nagar in Kadapa, things are usually a bit quieter than in the main market areas. That is where we have Sri Sai Vignan High School. It is a straightforward place, built to serve the families living around the Cuddapah Ho area. The building is painted a simple color and stands out on the street because of the school sign out front. Inside, the floors are hard cement and we have simple wooden furniture for the students. Kadapa can get incredibly hot, so we rely on the big windows to let some air circulate through the rooms. There is a small courtyard where we do the morning assembly, and you can see the red dirt that is so common around here. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or computers in every room, but we have enough to get the lessons done. Most of our staff have been here for a long time and they know the parents by name. It is the kind of place where people stop to chat at the gate when they are picking up their kids. We focus on the basics of the syllabus and try to make sure everyone stays on track with their work. There is always a bit of noise from the classrooms, especially when the younger ones are doing their recitations. It is just a normal, everyday school doing its part in the neighborhood. We keep things simple and try to make sure the school stays in good shape for everyone.
