Gp High School

Gp High School is out on Badvel Road in the Chodavaram area. It is a simple place with a long history of serving the families around here. The building itself is quite functional, with high ceilings and thick walls that help a bit with the afternoon sun. We don't have air conditioning, so we rely on the breeze coming through the open windows, which usually brings in the smell of the nearby fields. The playground is mostly dirt and stones, but the kids don't seem to mind it much during their breaks. Working here means you get used to the sound of the bell and the shuffling of feet in the corridors. We have a small office near the entrance where we keep all the paper records in big metal cupboards. It can get a bit disorganized during admission season, but we eventually find what we are looking for. The road outside has been under repair for a while, so it is often a bit of a bumpy ride to get here in the morning. We are just a local high school where the teachers know the siblings of the students because they taught them years ago too. It is a very familiar environment for everyone. We focus on the books and the blackboard and making sure the kids are ready for their finals. It is not a flashy institution, just a solid building on a busy road where people come to learn and work every day.
