Sri Sai Vignan English Medium High School

We are tucked away in R V S Nagar here in Kadapa. Most days start pretty early because the sun gets quite hot later on. You can find us on Pakkirpalle Road where the traffic from Cmr Palli usually picks up around eight in the morning. It’s a normal school building with a lot of noise during the breaks. The teachers mostly come from nearby areas and we spend a lot of time organizing the registers and making sure the benches are straight. It isn't anything fancy but it works for the families around here. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in. There is a lot of chalk dust on our clothes by noon. We’ve been at this for a while now in this part of Andhra Pradesh. The kids are loud when they get out of class and you can hear them all the way down the street. We just try to keep things moving. There is a small shop nearby where some of the staff get snacks. The walk from the main road isn't too long but it feels it when it rains. We have some trees in the yard that give a bit of shade. It’s just a regular place where people show up, do their work, and go home. We don't have a big office or anything, just some desks and some old fans that squeak a bit when they are on full speed.
