Sri Sai Saraswathi Vidya Mandir

We are based in Onipenta, which falls under the Maidukur Mandalam area in Kadapa. The school is a modest place where we teach children from the surrounding neighborhood. It is not a very large building, but we make use of all the space we have for the classrooms. There is a small area out front where the kids line up for their morning prayers. You can often hear them from the street if you walk by. The rooms are basic with standard benches and boards. We try to keep everything in order, though with so many children around, it naturally gets a bit messy by the end of the day. The teachers here are dedicated people and most of them live close by in Onipenta. We focus on the basics like reading, writing, and simple math for the younger ones. It is a quiet life here in this part of Kadapa. We do not have any big advertisements or expensive facilities on the grounds. Just the school building and the students who come to learn. Parents often drop by during the afternoon to check on their children's progress. We sit on the plastic chairs in the office and talk about things. It is all very informal. During the local festivals, we decorate the front gate a bit with flowers. It is a community school more than anything else.
