Siddartha E.M High School

We are located in the Cmr Palli area of Kadapa. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the full name, Chinna Musali Reddy Palli, but everyone around here just knows it. The school is an English medium one, so we spend a lot of time working on language with the kids. Our building is a standard brick structure with a bit of a yard out front. It’s nothing spectacular to look at, but it does the job. The classrooms have the usual setup—rows of benches, a blackboard, and some cupboards for books. We have a small gate that gets very crowded around 4 PM when the day ends. The staff is a mix of young and old teachers who all live nearby. We don’t have a massive cafeteria, so most kids bring their lunch boxes from home. You can smell all the different types of food during the break. It gets pretty hot here in Kadapa, so we're always thankful for the few trees we have on the property that give some shade. We aren't trying to be the most modern school in the state; we just provide a place for local kids to get an education. There’s always some maintenance to do, like painting a wall or fixing a fan. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve been doing it for years now. We just open the gates every morning and get to work with the students.
