Manoj Vadher handles the Ultra Tech Cement Ltd work here in Chorwad, located on Bandar Road. We are situated right at Bhoomi Xerox, which makes it easy for people in the Junagadh district to find us. It’s a bit of a unique setup sharing space with a xerox shop, but it works for us. We spend our days coordinating cement orders and talking to the local builders who come in. Chorwad is a coastal town, so there is always some salt in the air and a bit of a breeze from the sea. The office isn't anything special, just a desk and some chairs where we handle the documents. We don't use any fancy management techniques; we just write things down and make sure the cement gets to where it’s supposed to go. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the shop when people are trying to get copies made and we’re trying to talk about truck loads, but we make it work. It’s a very local, down-to-earth way of doing things. People know they can just drop by Bandar Road and find Manoj if they need to discuss a supply for their project. We don't bother with much advertising because word of mouth in a place like this is what matters most. It’s just daily life in a small town.
