Ambuja Cements Limited

We are based at F-200 in the New North Colony of Ambuja Nagar, which is down in Ta: Kodinar in the Junagadh district. This is basically where the staff for Ambuja Cements stays and works. It’s a big colony and there are always people walking around or kids playing in the evenings. The office is just a converted space in one of the buildings here. It’s not very large, but it’s enough for what we need. We handle a lot of the local administrative stuff and keep track of who is coming and going. Since we live right here, there isn't much of a commute, which is the best part. You just walk a few minutes and you’re at your desk. The air has that salty smell sometimes because we aren't too far from the coast. We have our own little routine, starting early before the sun gets too hot. It’s a simple life. We don't have much in the way of entertainment, so we mostly just focus on our work and then spend time with our neighbors. The office has a few old fans that make a lot of noise, but they do the trick. We’ve been here in Kodinar for a long time and we’ve seen the place grow quite a bit over the years. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the quiet and the heat. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
