Our office at G-112 in the New North Colony stays pretty active throughout the week. You can find us right there in Ambujanagar, usually surrounded by stacks of paperwork and the sound of the loading crews. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s fine with us. We handle the distribution for this part of the Kodinar taluka. The morning usually starts with a hot cup of tea and a look at the schedule for the day. Cement arrives, cement leaves, and we make sure the numbers match up at the end of the shift. The floors are concrete, fittingly enough, and they’ve seen a lot of boots over the years. We don't spend much on fancy furniture because it would just get covered in dust anyway. Most of us have lived in the Junagadh district our whole lives, so we know most of the contractors who stop by. We talk about the weather or the state of the local roads while the guys are loading up the trailers. It’s a very grounded way to earn a living. Nothing about it is flashy. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay out of the sun when it gets too intense in the afternoon. It is just the way things are done here at G-112. We keep things moving and don't make a big fuss about it.
